37-14 36th Street

At 36th Street and Northern Boulevard in Long Island City, we had the privilege to work with Silver Star Motors in developing and designing a 100,000 SF mixed-use building. The first two floors contain an automotive pre-owned Mercedes-Benz showroom, storage and maintenance center. The showroom incorporates the Mercedes-Benz standards into the design, but also integrates with the industrial loft like facade above. The residential portion identifies itself with a prominent entrance on 36th street. It was developed as efficient but high-end studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom rental units. The top two floors are considered penthouses with 11’-0” ceilings and terraces in four of the nine units. The amenity space includes a gym, outdoor recreation space and lounge. In addition, there is a recreational terrace space on the top roof of the building.
